Bucketts Way, a picturesque yet winding road coursing through the Upper Hunter and Mid North Coast of NSW, features a challenging landscape along the Great Dividing Range, with only two lanes. Recent weather events necessitated urgent upgrades to the aging stormwater infrastructure.
Navigating live water mains posed a challenge, as they clashed with several stormwater extensions. To address this, our team installed a new water main, and new sections of the existing water main (asbestos) were methodically removed and managed in accordance with the Asbestos Management Plan.
Strategic planning in stormwater pipe procurement ensured timely completion of necessary sections, aligning perfectly with scheduled traffic switches, demonstrating effective project management.
