Ocean Drive Duplication
Summary
SMEC awarded ACG the project to undertake works for the investigation of the design of Ocean Drive Duplication in Port Macquarie. These works were primarily in wet areas to determine the geotechnical foundation which would ultimately be under the new road alignment.
Scope of Works
- Clearing of vegetation and trees in the footprint of the access tracks.
- Construction of access tracks for all boreholes to allow drilling rigs and excavators to undertake the investigations.
- Drilling rig platforms included rock blankets.
- Erosion and Sediment Controls around the sensitive wet areas.
- Undertake drilling of test pits for visual inspections.
- Set up Traffic Control to undertake the works safely
SMEC awarded ACG the project to undertake works for the investigation of the design of Ocean Drive Duplication in Port Macquarie. These works were primarily in wet areas to determine the geotechnical foundation which would ultimately be under the new road alignment.
ACG assisted with the construction of this rural subdivision in Tamworth.
ACG were engaged to rehabilitate the Wauchope Train Station Carpark. The Wauchope Train station is managed by Sydney Trains whom requested the works to be undertaken. Reason for the works is due to a worn-out section of the Carpark.
ACG have been engaged to upgrade services of the park, while operational, which will require a collaborative approach with our client, park management and patrons.
Alliance Construction Group (ACG) are assisting Miedecke Motor Group as the Project Management Team to manage the design and construction of alterations to Ford Showroom building.
ACG are assisting with Flood Disaster repair works. With the floods that occurred in 2021, there are numerous areas that have caused damages to the roads in the MidCoast Council LGA.
