The Cox Bridge forms a crucial part of the Fixing Country Bridges Program initiated by the NSW Government. This program aims to replace timber bridges across New South Wales with durable concrete structures. The Cox bridge, like many others, had suffered damage from natural disasters, significantly impacting transportation routes for heavy vehicles, including freighters, school buses, and Rural Fire Service tankers. ACG was responsible for constructing the bridge’s approach road works.
Due to unforeseen flooding, our team had to work around unavoidable delays. Our team implemented adaptive strategies to manage the delays effectively and maintain project momentum. Our crews worked in 12-hour shifts, enabling us to maintain productivity and adhere to the project schedule.
This careful planning ensured that the execution of this project was within the stipulated timeframe required by our client.
