ACG was successfully awarded the subcontract to enhance the Bligh St Intersection on Manning River Drive. This project encompassed widening the Bligh Street intersection to establish a turning lane into Bligh from the primary dual lane of Manning River Drive, and the installation of new traffic signalling. ACG also reconstructed a second intersection, widening it to accommodate turning lanes and adding small concrete islands.
Undertaking this project in one of the busiest intersections located in Taree meant that traffic management, scheduling, and safety was of the utmost importance. The ACG team delivered this project utilising a comprehensive traffic management plan with alternative routes, clear signage and efficient communication with the public.
ACG conducted regular check-ins with the projects stakeholders to coordinate schedules, closely monitor progress and ensure timely delivery of the project milestones.
Regular safety inspections and high standards of WorkSafe practices kept this project running smoothly and safely for all.
