PROJECT
HIGHLIGHTS

ACG's successful implementation of the safe and efficient replacement of outdated water mains, including the removal of asbestos pipes, in compliance with stringent safety and environmental standards kept every person on safe during this project.

AT A GLANCE

ACG partnered with Jim Newton Constructions for water mains relocation at the Innes Park Subdivision to meet strict project timelines. The work involved large scale reconstruction of water mains, valves, fittings, domestic connections, and all testing to Port Macquarie Hastings Council and WSAA standards.

There were multifaceted achievements across this project (in conjunction with the sewer aspect of this project) however the removal of asbestos pipes in compliance with safety protocols and the coordination of multiple utilities within a shared trench posed a unique task.

Meticulous planning and adherence to safety protocols were central to these achievements. Advanced techniques were employed for the removal and disposal of asbestos pipes, and the installation of new water mains adhered to rigorous safety measures and quality standards.
