James Newton Constructions – Innes Park Subdivision, John Oxley Drive

ACG were engaged by Jim Newton Constructions to complete the sewer installation and water main relocation at Innes Park Subdivision. This was to ensure that program timeframes were achieved to release this prime position, slightly sloped estate.

Sewer works for this project included the installation of 150 mm gravity mains in ground to a depth of up to 5 metres, including a thrust bore under John Oxley Drive, 18 manholes and 26 domestic sewer connections, commissioned with vacuum testing and CCTV inspection.

Reconstruction of potable & reclaimed watermains, include the remove and dispose of redundant mains. Installation of 300mm dia potable mains and 250mm reclaimed watermains, including all fittings and fixtures in shared trench with 100mm Communications conduits.

All water mains undergo disinfection and chlorination flush and testing to Port Macquarie-Hastings Specifications and standard drawings.

The Oxley Vale Life Learning Centre is a $3.4 million investment from the NSW Government which consists of Port Macquarie Arts and Craft Centre and the Hasting’s Men’s Shed to share the one location.
